If the device will not come off
Do not pull it. First turn the knob in the direction of the CLOSE arrow. If the knob will not turn, see emergency release. If you notice pain, congestion, swelling, numbness or discolouration, stop using it immediately and consult a medical practitioner promptly. In an emergency, call 999 or 112, or go to the nearest A&E department. For urgent but non-emergency advice, call NHS 111.
