Reverse-taper arms that stay in place
Each arm is narrow at the base and gets wider towards the tip (a reverse taper). The neck is 5 mm wide when closed. Because the tip is wider, the tool is less likely to slip during use, and its flat faces spread contact instead of pressing on a single point.
